Live a longer, stronger life
Turning longevity research into what you should do.

Background
Why Boddy Exists
Advice is often uncited and contradictory. Longevity guidance online is a firehose of confident opinion, most of it uncited and much of it selling something. Working out what is actually supported, and how strongly, is the hard part.
Trackers log, and coaches score. A workout app records what you did and stays quiet on whether it was the right thing to do. The ones that do offer an opinion hand you a number and keep the reasoning to themselves.
Your data is worth more to them than to you. Health data outside a clinic is not protected the way medical records are, and an app that costs nothing is usually paid for some other way.
How It Works
- Levels
Boddy breaks each lever of a longer, stronger life into three levels: a Domain worth caring about, the measurable Behaviors inside it, and the concrete Guidance that gets you there. Every level is graded on the strength of its evidence, and the wording is held to the grade.
- Evidence
Every Domain, Behavior, and Guidance entry lists the studies behind it with authors, journal, year, and DOI, and carries a certainty grade of high, moderate, low, or very low. Boddy claims no clinical panel and asks for no benefit of the doubt; it shows you the strongest evidence, graded honestly, and lets you judge.
- Personalization
Boddy commits to the few things that matter instead of burying you in scores and streaks. Guidance adapts to your age and sex where the research supports it, read from your Apple Health profile.
Most studies report population averages rather than effects split by age or sex, so Boddy personalizes only as far as the evidence allows and stays explicit where it can't.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is Boddy a medical device?
No. Boddy is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It summarizes published research and shows you how strong that research is. Talk to a qualified healthcare provider before changing how you train, especially if you have an injury or a medical condition.
- Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, no login, and nothing to sign up for. You open the app and start.
- Where does my data go?
It stays on your iPhone and syncs only through your own iCloud. There is no Boddy server collecting it, and the app has no tracking or analytics whatsoever.
- Does Boddy need Apple Health?
Only if you want your sleep behaviors, or want workouts recorded elsewhere to count toward your training. Boddy reads sleep and workouts from Apple Health with your permission, and writes the workouts you log back. The free tier never asks for it.
- Where does the guidance come from?
Published research, cited in full: authors, journal, year, and DOI. Each entry carries an evidence grade, and a standing review re-checks the literature and revises the content when the evidence moves.
- What does it cost?
The research, and your own logged workouts, are free permanently. Seeing your numbers measured against the behaviors is $39.99 a year or $99.99 once, after a one month free trial you start when you choose.
